WHO: American Red Cross and Delta Dental of Tennessee

WHAT: Delta Dental is presenting the Red Cross with 10,000 toothbrushes to be placed in comfort kits that are distributed to disaster victims. These toothbrushes will cover comfort kit needs for adults and children affected by local disasters in the state of Tennessee for one year.

WHERE: Delta Dental
240 Venture Circle
Nashville, TN

WHEN: Tuesday, June 25
10:30 a.m.

INFO: After watching a Red Cross video in which a home fire victim talks about how much having a toothbrush of her own meant to her after a disaster, Delta Dental employees were very touched and wanted to contribute toothbrushes to the Red Cross to help provide comfort to those in need.

This is the original clip:

Phil Wenk, D.D.S., President & CEO, of Delta Dental will be presenting the toothbrushes to Red Cross representatives: Joel Sullivan, Regional CEO of the Tennessee Volunteer Region and David Kitchen, Chief Emergency Services Officer for the Tennessee Volunteer Region.

Media outlets are invited for B-roll and interviews. There will be a Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle on-site that will be loaded with boxes of toothbrushes donated by Delta Dental.
