Cathy Heimerdinger, founder of Meals 4 Health & Healing, discusses the mission of the foundation with Tribune Editorial Director Sandra Long Weaver. She is the widow of Mike Heimerdinger, who had been the offensive coordinator for the Titans. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 and died in 2011. The group is dedicated to raising awareness about healthy lifestyles and nourishing meal preparation.

The foundation provides free meals for three months to those undergoing cancer treatments and their caregivers.
