NEW ORLEANS, LA — The historic headquarters of the former New Orleans Public Service Inc. (NOPSI) — a 1920s-era landmark located in the heart of downtown New Orleans — is the host hotel for the wedding of Jylana L. Sheats,  the daughter of Mrs. Simone Sheats and the late Dr. Jimmy B. Sheats of Brentwood, TN.

After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for five years, Jylana recently settled in New Orleans, LA where she is a behavioral scientist and assistant professor at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. Her work focuses on reducing health disparities through community-based and technology-driven strategies.

Mychal J. Stuart is the son of Donald and Rose Stuart of Albany, NY.  After nearly a decade in retail banking, Mychal traveled to London to pursue a graduate degree in finance from Hult International Business School. Upon returning to the United States, he acted upon his entrepreneurial ambitions by forming The Stuart Development Firm (SDF). The SDF has enabled Mychal to integrate his proven abilities in finance and relationship management with his experience in real estate construction and services.
