NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee State University’s College of Engineering is celebrating a landmark year of innovation, growth, and achievement. The newly released IMPACT Magazine spotlights the college’s record-setting grants, national recognition, and the launch of its new $60 million state-of-the-art engineering building.

New $60 million facility coming in Summer 2027

“This year marks an exciting milestone as the College begins the design and construction of a $60 million state-of-the-art engineering building,” said Dr. Lin Li, Dean of Engineering. “At the same time, our commitment to research continues to grow, with expanded faculty involvement and the addition of two new tenure-track faculty, three staff members, and a research professor to strengthen our research capacity.”
