With Christmas being only one week away, it’s not too late for Santa to deliver the vehicle of your dreams. Why not check your list twice and make sure that you’ve got a new 2022 Ford Expedition XLT MAX on that list. This latest SUV offers a lot—style, durability, space and good looks, all for an amazing price.

The XLT Max is the largest SUV in the Ford portfolio and for 2022, the latest version gets some welcomed upgrades to keep it competitive. It was last redesigned in 2018, so this upgrade is much needed. It continues to be the SUV of choice for those of you who need maximum cargo room and people space.

The XLT can accommodate up to 8 passengers in comfort and in style. To further speak of roominess, space and storage are at premium.  There’s third-row seating storage, thanks to the 60/40 Powerfold and Power Recline. You can fold down the third-row seat flat to make even more room if needed. The 8-way Power Driver Seat (includes Power Tilt and Lumbar; Manual Recline) and 4-way Manual Passenger Seat (Fore/Aft, Recline). Let’s not forget about the second row passengers. Second-row offers 40/20/40 split bench manual reclining fold-flat seat with CenterSlide® Smart-charging is also offered on the 3rd row seating, that features USB ports, which are standard on the Expedition XLT.

Some of the other interior features include: 8” productivity screen; a cargo bin; a leather-wrapped steering wheel, with cruise and audio control, to name a few.

When you look under the hood of the 2022 Expedition XLT MAX, you can see where power and performance meet fuel efficiency. The standard 3.5L EcoBoost® engine offers 380 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s designed with active aerodynamics and grille shutters. The front air diffuser allows for more capability to supersede obstacles at lower speeds while improving aerodynamics at higher speeds to maximize efficiency. The 10-speed Select-Shift transmission has a wide-ratio span and optimized gear spacing that helps improve responsiveness and performance during acceleration. Even though it’s a big vehicle, when it’s time to accelerate, the power is there.

For drivers who are outdoor enthusiasts, who may have a boat or trailer, the XLT has you covered. You can tow a boat or trailer weighing up to 9,300 pounds* when properly equipped, with the available towing technology. Plus, there’s a sway control feature, front tow hooks and hillstart assist, if needed.
