NASHVILLE, TN — The Metropolitan Teachers Credit Union’s Board of Directors hosted a Retirement Luncheon for their long-time dedicated employee, Mrs. Loyce Thompson, at Kingdom Café on Jefferson Street.
Mrs. Thompson has been employed with The Metropolitan Teachers Credit Union for sixteen years as a teller and administrative assistant. The luncheon was the Board of Directors way of expressing their appreciation for her many years of exemplary service. Mrs. Thompson previously retired from the Metropolitan Public School System as an English teacher at the middle and high school levels in 2003 with 31 years of services. During the luncheon tributes about Mrs. Thompson cited her friendly, pleasant personality, strong work ethic, and appreciation for her many years of service. Mrs. Thompson expressed her thanks to the Board of Directors for honoring her and said that she would miss the members and staff, but was grateful for the lasting relationships that have developed as a result of her working at the credit union.
