Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–Tennessee doctor Jason Martin is running for governor. According to his campaign, Dr. Martin has been an advocate for policies to make life better for Tennesseans, and has spent years fighting for the health and well-being of our state.
After twelve rural hospitals closed in Tennessee, Dr. Martin went on to lead the fight for Tennessee’s healthcare in our rural communities and was confronted with the frightening truth: Tennessee’s leaders were more concerned with cable hits and talking points from Washington than actually improving the lives and livelihoods of Tennessee’s working families.
The COVID-19 pandemic has further exposed and exacerbated the inequity and incompetence of our state’s leadership — so Dr. Martin is running to do something about it.
By bringing Tennesseans together, Dr. Martin aims to finally address this deadly pandemic, improve our health care and education systems, and create a state where everyone can thrive.
