GALLATIN, TN — The TN-MMC HBCU Wellness Project, in collaboration with West Eastland Church of Christ are hosting a Community Health & Wellness EXPO on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The EXPO will take place at 342 W. Eastland Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066 (West Eastland Church of Christ). Featured will be more than 25 health and wellness organizations, children’s activities, and fresh produce giveaways. The EXPO is open to the public and is free of charge.

The TN-MMC HBCU Wellness Project proudly presents its highly anticipated 7th EXPO, centered around the theme “Wellness Begins With We.” After an unfortunate cancellation in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, this event marks the organization’s return to Sumner County.. Director Lisa McGee expressed her excitement, stating, “We are delighted to see vendors from previous events return as well as introduce new ones. Over the years, we have witnessed the profound impact of the EXPO in rural communities, and we are immensely grateful to our Meharry Medical College collaborators and our partnership with West Eastland Church of Christ as we continue to explore ways to amplify healthier outcomes through community engagement.”
