NASHVILLE, TN — Harbinger Theological Seminary, a ministry of Nashville Church of Christ, is seeking applicants for its Summer Session 2, which opens August 3 and continues for seven weeks, through September 18.

Harbinger Theological Seminary offers certifications in Christian Counseling, Christian Apologetics, Multicultural Missions, Bible in the Contemporary World, New Testament and Hermeneutical Studies, and Church Leadership. Each module for each certification is seven weeks. Classes meet for three hours each week, digitally in real time. Lectures are recorded for reference. Anyone who is interested in learning is welcome to enroll. All courses are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to 15-20 students each semester. The online application is located at: harbingertheologicalseminary.org/apply.

Programs are free and similar to open-enrollment programs offered in the United Kingdom. Classes are structured to allow working professionals to gain certification in areas that augment their professional experience and develop their own curriculum vitae. The only cost to participants is the purchase of textbooks or materials.

Courses are offered on rotation and students may move at their own pace; certifications require 18-hours of course work. Depending on the student, certifications can be completed within a year. Courses are taught by credentialed faculty.

A Master’s and Doctoral level of scholarly studies is part of Harbinger’s strategic plan for the future. Additional information is available at https://harbingertheologicalseminary.org.
