Goldman Sachs recently announced a historic $10 billion investment commitment to impact the lives of at least one million Black women by 2030.
The One Million Black Women initiative — launched in partnership with Black women-led organizations, including The Links, Incorporated — is the largest of its kind, and will drive investments in a multitude of areas such as housing, healthcare, access to capital, education, job creation and workforce advancement, digital connectivity, and financial health.
Join us on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 8 p.m. EDT for One Million Black Women Listening Tour.
The session will be hosted by the initiative’s partners: The Links, Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, National Council of Negro Women, Power Rising, Black Women’s Roundtable and the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, Walker’s Legacy Foundation, and Sistahs in Business Expo. You will hear firsthand from the leaders of these Black women-led organizations, including our National President Kimberly Jeffries Leonard, about the initiative, its scope, and what role each organization will play in ensuring we support and empower Black women. Participants will also have the opportunity to submit questions and understand how this work can impact your community.
