Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-The Bow Ties & Pearls Derby Day Party returned on Saturday, May 4, 2024.  It was an unforgettable experience as promised.  Gentlemen were dressed in their finest bow ties and dapper suits, while the ladies adorned their prettiest fascinators and colorful dresses.  This 2nd annual event was held at The Standard and was hosted by the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Tau Lambda Chapter and the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter.

This ‘party with a purpose’ raised funds to help support the chapters’ programming,  community service initiatives and scholarships. Entertainment was provided by Will Davenport & Band and DJ Lawbreaker.
