Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock headlined Tennessee State University’s Spring commencement on Friday. President Dr. Glenda Glover delivered the keynote address to the undergraduates on Saturday.

Dr. Glover was joined by Interim Provost Dr. Robbie Melton and Board of Trustees Chair Dakasha Winston as she presented Sen. Warnock with an honorary TSU doctorate degree.  

“Today I was honored to deliver the commencement address to TSU class of 2024,”Dr. Glover said. “I challenged an exited group of students to increase their faith, stay in the game, and always know that they can surpass the talents of any individual in any field.”

In her closing remarks as keynote speaker, President Glover had a final surprise for the class of 2024. She gifted each student $50, which they discovered under their seats.
