Nashville, TN — Slutty Vegan, the Atlanta-based cult favorite plant-based burger bar, has announced the dates for its highly anticipated residency in Nashville. From August 1-7, the woman-owned, black-owned restaurant will be serving up its popular vegan burgers at 6917 Lennox Village Dr., Nashville, Tennessee, 37211. Operating hours are set from 5 PM to 10 PM every day.

Pinky Cole founded Slutty Vegan in July 2018 with the goal of providing vegan options to the inner-city Atlanta community, which experiences high rates of hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, and other food-borne ailments. Starting from her two-bedroom apartment, Cole sold made-to-order burgers on Instagram, quickly gaining a loyal following. Within weeks, she expanded to a food truck and opened the first Slutty Vegan brick-and-mortar location in October 2018. The grand opening drew over 1,200 people who waited in 45-degree weather to taste the innovative burgers.

Since then, Slutty Vegan has grown to include a dozen locations across four states: Alabama, Georgia, New York, and Texas. However, the Birmingham, Alabama, and New York, New York locations are temporarily closed, as reported by the Tennessean. Regular updates and truck locations are posted on social media, where the restaurant has amassed a following of over 1 million “sluts” (loyal customers) and “virgins” (first-time visitors).
