NASHVILLE, TN — Tennis champion Andre Agassi will gather with Councilmember Joy Styles and leaders from Rocketship Public Schools Tennessee, students and parents to formally celebrate the opening of Rocketship Dream Community Prep, a state-of-the-art charter school serving 350 students in Antioch and Southeast Davidson County.
Andre Agassi, co-managing partner of the Turner-Agassi Education Facilities Fund joins with Joy Styles, District 32 Councilmember, Metropolitan Council of Nashville Educators, parents, school leaders, and student Rocketeers.
On Thursday, November 10, 2022, a media tour of the school and classrooms with a visit with Andre Agassi, Councilmember Joy Styles, school leaders and other stakeholders, will be followed by a 10:00 a.m. festive ribbon-cutting celebration with student performances and remarks from Representative Harold Love and other dignitaries as well as Rocketship Dream Community Prep students. The event will be held at Rocketship Dream Community Prep, 5450 Mt View Road in Antioch.
Rocketship Dream Community prep is Rocketship Public Schools’ third school in Nashville. It is a new, tuition-free public charter school currently serving over 350 students in grades K-4.
