NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The William Edmondson Arts & Culture Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Edmondson Homesite Park, 1450 14th Avenue South.

The annual event honors Edgehill native and groundbreaking sculptor William Edmondson—the first African American to receive a solo exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art in 1937. His works reside in major U.S. museums and have sold for more than $700,000. Edmondson lived and created at 1434 14th Avenue South until his death in 1951.

This year’s lineup features an art and craft fair, live music and performances, a kids zone with activities for all ages, and live artist demonstrations. A main stage will host vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, poets and spoken-word artists throughout the day. Attendance has grown annually, drawing more than a thousand participants. Admission and parking are free. Learn more here WE Fest — William Edmondson Homesite Park & Gardens
