    2020 Dodge Challenger R/T

The new 2020 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack has that throwback spirit but with all of the 21st century technology  and amenities. The name itself is a bit ‘back in the day’ but the mechanics are anything but. Challenger R/T Scat Pack houses a track-worthy 392 HEMI® V8 engine that shows off with 485 horses, 475 lb-ft of torque, 0 – 60 mph in the low 4-second range,  and a quarter mile in the mid-12-second range. This pavement-pounding power is backed by four-piston Brembo® brakes, ThreeMode Electronic Stability Control (ESC)1 with Full-Off Mode, high-performance suspension with Bilstein® shocks and 20 by 9-inch aluminum wheels.

It’s ranked Best-in-Class passenger room with seating for up to five. and tech like the 7-inch reconfigurable Driver Information Digital Cluster Display and  Uconnect® 4C NAV with 8.4-inch touchscreen, making it the largest touchscreen in its class.

The interior of the Dodge Challenger sets it apart from the typical muscle-car crowd. With customizations from the steering wheel to the seats, and Class-Exclusive features for your favorite five-passengers. Heritage Tic-Toc-Tach gauges flank the 7-inch reconfigurable Driver Information Digital Cluster Display, that includes 0-60 time,

Every R/T Scat Pack model includes Dodge SRT® Performance Pages that feature everything from Launch Control to a g-force meter to drag-race timers. This real-time data can also be accessed on either the standard 7-inch reconfigurable digital display that’s housed between the gauges or the standard 8.4-inch Uconnect® touchscreen. SRT Drive Modes offer the ability to customize steering feel, transmission shift points, throttle response.  Race-inspired seats feature a Scat Pack Bee logo embroidered on either a standard high-performance premium cloth or in Nappa leather trim with Alcantara® suede inserts. Your car. Your style. Your choice.

It won’t be too long before the Nashville weather will bring icy roads and snowflakes. Not a problem.  Challenger’s All-Wheel Drive (AWD) delivers big control exactly when you need it. The advanced automatic front-axle disconnect technologically intuitively and seamlessly transitions between Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and AWD without driver intervention. Under normal driving conditions, the front axle is disengaged, and 100 percent of the engine’s torque is directed to the rear wheel. When sensors indicate more traction is needed, the system automatically engages the front axle and instantly transitions to AWD mode.

The Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack combines the same high-performance hardware as the Charger — but in a more nimble two-door coupe body style. The bottom line is that it’s quicker and faster once it hits the highway.

    THE NUMBERS: MSRP/from $38,995  – MPG:  15/City  – 24/Hwy.
