The new 2020 Hyundai Elantra GT is outfitted with good and sporty looks, smart new tech and safety, all combined it makes for a practical good-looking vehicle.

The GT is loaded with the latest entertainment and safety tech, wireless charging and in-demand creature comforts…Sleek, in-dash design lets you access maps, info and entertainment safely on the big screen, that’s perfect for taming Nashville’s congested city streets or twisty mountain roads.

For 2020, the Elantra GT offers plenty of upgrades that includes a 201-hp 1.6L 4-cylinder engine, with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and 161 to 201 hp. There’s stiffer springs, larger front disc brakes and a multi-link rear suspension. Sporty design cues include LED headlights and taillights, a deeper front bumper with larger intakes, a rear diffuser with dual exhaust outlets.

The Elantra GT features a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, along with standard leather seating surfaces with more aggressive bolsters and contrast stitching. Steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters are at your fingertips. There’s also alloy pedals at your feet, with sport-inspired accents throughout the interior. Experience 6-way adjustable front seats with height adjustment, and a power driver seat with adjustable lumbar support legroom

The GT turns up the volume, too. It has an awesome audio system with 8 speakers, a center channel and a subwoofer that surrounds you with your favorite music. And with Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology at your fingertips, drivers and passengers can enjoy hearing everything that should be heard.

Open the hatch, fold down the rear seats, and you’ve got easy-loading room that rivals compact SUVs for cargo space.

Driver Attention Warning quietly monitors your driving and alerts you if it detects potential fatigue. This is a feature normally found in high-end expensive European luxury vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW. But thanks to Hyundai, it’s now available to those with smaller, friendlier budgets. Constantly turning your beams off and on can be a hassle, especially when driving on the highway. But Hyundai’s High Beam Assist (HBA) feature has the answer. This thoughtful feature automatically does its job for your safety. It can detect on coming vehicles and also when those vehicles are no longer there, by toggling between high and low beams accordingly.

Each time a Hyundai is sold, a portion of the money goes to Hyundai Hope On Wheels® to help find a cure for childhood cancer. This wonderful organization has been helping kids fight cancer since 1998. Over the last 21 years, Hyundai Hope On Wheels has donated more than $160 million. Hope makes every Hyundai better. And it comes standard on every Hyundai. For more information, please visit www.HyundaiHopeOnWheels.org

THE NUMBERS: MSRP: From $20,650 – MPG: Up to 25 city / 32 highway
