This exclusive transmission has one of the fastest shift times among conventional automatic transmissions, 4 changing gears in 0.12 seconds. The system also learns your habits every time you drive, selecting the optimum gear based on vehicle speed, acceleration and your driving habits—even choosing the ideal gear while cornering.
No detail was spared when creating the LC. The painstakingly crafted steering wheel, which provides optimal grip when cornering, is the result of countless hours of testing and track development with Lexus takumi masters. Alcantara®5-trimmed door panels with deep, flowing lines form a distinctive look and feel. A leather-trimmed shift knob was crafted from four strips of high-quality leather that were then meticulously hand-sewn. And ambient illumination accentuates the bold contours and details throughout the cabin. To take interior comfort even further, a Climate Concierge system integrates climate control, heated and ventilated seating as well as an available heated steering wheel. Every element of the LC was carefully considered to elevate the driver’s connection to the road.
