The all new Kia K5 GT 2.5T has made  its mark with drivers for 2021.  With its driver-oriented cockpit, advanced technology, turbocharged engines, stability enhancing wide-track suspension, up to 311 lb.-ft. torque, All-Weather Drive options, and all-new platform, this sporty mid-sized sedan is ready to give drivers a driving experience that’s more than just the ‘new car smell.’

Customers have a choice of two turbocharged engines, with available features like a sport-tuned suspension for higher performance. And all-wheel drive, for all-weather confidence. Advanced driver-assistance technologies for extra help are ready and willing when you need it. And striking exterior details to make your presence known on any road… For high-performance thrills, K5’s GT trim features a powerful 2.5L turbocharged engine, which unleashes 290 HP and 311 lb.-ft. of torque through an 8-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission, plus offers a sport-tuned suspension and larger disc brakes with GT calipers.

KIA DRIVE WISE is a suite of standard and available advanced driver-assistance technologies that are designed to help keep you alert, aware of surrounding traffic, and even intervene in certain situations to help you avoid collisions. Using cameras, radar, and sensors, Kia Drive Wise includes braking technologies, maneuvering technologies, and more.

The K5’s cabin is designed to be thoroughly comfortable, sporty and filled with an impressive range of premium features. Take a look inside at an interior that features a driver-centric cockpit that puts driver in control with both premium standard and other available extra features. Some of these amenities include vehicle control via voices with natural language understanding. This lets you speak casually to control a variety of features by giving simple requests such as “turn on the A/C” or “turn on the seat heater”4 10.25”; Touch Screen with Navigation Systems that feature high-resolution graphics and split-screen mode; and Bose Premium Audio that includes 12 high-performance speakers and surround sound.

And to help drivers/owners keep their K5 in tip top shaped Kia has a generous industry-leading warranty program.  Owners have several options to choose from. There’s a 10-YEAR/100,000 mile powertrain warranty; or a 5-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty; a 5-YEAR/100,000-MILE limited anti-perforation warranty; or a 5-YEAR/60,000-mile 24-hour roadside assistance.

The Traction & Stability Control include Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, and Vehicle Stability Management, which are all designed to give drivers greater peace of mind on slippery and snowy roads, which were here in Nashville earlier this week.

THE NUMBERS: MSRP: From $30,490 MPG: 24 city / 32 highway
