Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-In a heartfelt initiative, Nexterra, in collaboration with Don Porter, CEO of URG/United Recyclers Group gifted a vehicle to Samantha Joubert, a young woman facing challenges due to her child’s DiGeorge Syndrome.

Samantha, a mother of two, has been struggling with the absence of reliable transportation, especially during her frequent visits to doctors and hospitals. In a recent conversation with the Nexterra team, Samantha shared that she had spent the last 13 weeks in the hospital, emphasizing the critical need for reliable means of transportation.

“Our collective effort to make a positive impact in Samantha’s life exemplifies the spirit of community and compassion here at Nexterra. This initiative is not just about a vehicle; it’s about giving Samantha and her family the support and hope they deserve,” remarks Katie Pharr, Nexterra’s VP of Technology and one of the key contributors to the initiative.

Don Porter, through his generosity and commitment, played a pivotal role in making this initiative a reality. As the CEO of URG, he facilitated the acquisition of a vehicle from Midway Auto Sales, a store within his network. Without Don’s support, this act of kindness would not have been possible.

Additionally, the collaborative efforts of URG, Katie Pharr, and Nexterra have been instrumental in ensuring Samantha’s journey towards a fresh start. Recognizing the financial challenges Samantha faced, Nexterra will be paying off her outstanding car loans and managing the sale of her current vehicle on her behalf.

The vehicle was presented to Samantha Joubert on January 23rd at Vehicles Nashville, on Elm Hill Pike.

This initiative reflects the commitment of Nexterra and their partners to make a positive impact in the lives of those facing adversity. Joubert embarks on a new chapter with reliable transportation, we hope this gesture brings comfort and support to her and her family.
