NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH), is celebrating 10 years of building community and power for ordinary people to establish the “Beloved Community” that is equitable, just, fair, and democratic for all. It is an ambitious goal, but one that is within our grasp.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Boone Convocation Center on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene University at 333 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville TN 37210, NOAH will hold its 10th anniversary fundraising banquet. The theme is “A Decade of Justice: Building a Legacy and Charting a Way Forward.”

The keynote speaker for NOAH’s 10th Anniversary Banquet will be Dr. Michael Eric Dyson. Author of seven New York Times best-selling books, Dr. Dyson is a global academic, ordained Baptist minister, media personality, and winner of numerous prestigious awards and accolades including the 2020 Langston Hughes Medal, an American and Southern Book Award, and two NAACP Image Awards. Dyson is currently a Centennial and Distinguished University Professor in both the College of Arts and Science and The Divinity School at Vanderbilt University.

NOAH will honor five foundational NOAH leaders as part of its legacy of justice: Rev. Edward Thompson, John and Natasha Deane, Mike Hodge, Sally Levine, and Ray Sells.

The 70 diverse faith, non-profit and union member organizations of NOAH with outreach to 100,000 in-dividuals invite you to join us by becoming a sponsor of the event or purchasing an ad, a table of 8, or tickets. We are deeply grateful for the relationships we have developed over the years. We continue to look to people like you to keep building NOAH’s legacy. We invite you and the people you are in relationship with to chart NOAH’s path forward by investing in our transformative work,” said a NOAH represenative.
