NASHVILLE – The first day of early voting numbers are in, and 91,144 Tennesseans have already cast their ballots. That’s 54 percent more than the first day of early voting in 2022, with estimated Democratic turnout up 8 percent compared to the same point four years ago. Day two is underway.
Statement from Rachel Campbell, Chairwoman of the Tennessee Democratic Party:
“Tennessee has something to say! Tennessee Democrats are showing up, and the numbers prove it. We’ve built the organization to reach voters in every corner of Tennessee, and we’ll be out until Election Day helping people make their plan and get to the polls. In the most important midterms in history, grab your family, grab your neighbors, and together, we’re going to elect Democrats who will fight to make your life better and more affordable. If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still plenty of time to join in. Find early voting locations and make a plan to vote at IWillVote.com. Voters with questions can call the Tennessee voter assistance hotline at 833-DEM-VOTE.”
