For a great weekend getaway, head to Atlanta’s hopping district of Buckhead where high end shopping, boutiques, art galleries and dining abound. Make getting there part of the total experience with a plush bus ride aboard Nashville’s new luxury bus Vonlane. The bus offers convenient pick up service at the Omni Nashville downtown and drop off at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead. Relax and ride in comfort as assiduous attendants cater to your every need. They frequent the aisles with snacks, beverages. The service provides complimentary breakfast and lunch. Alcohol can be purchased. There is also WiFi available. It’s the perfect way to travel first class without the hassle of driving.

Passengers are dropped at the lobby of Grand Hyatt Buckhead, which makes it a great option to stay at.

For a more upscale stay, and really a destination spot, consider the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta where the pampering begins upon entry. Hospitality is next level as attendants go out of their to accommodate each guest. The Great Hall makes for a plush sitting area while enjoying a cocktail.

    Relax

A must is a treatment at the Spa InterContinental. The BeSpoke facial which is part of the French Biologique Recherche skincare line, is heavenly. It is equally as relaxing as the end result, providing a radiant glow with the high end skincare products.

    Dine

While there are a lot of dining options, cuisine is remarkable at The Americano. A fun starter is actually the artisan bread. What makes this set apart is the smoked butter, where the smoke releases when the server lifts the glass cover. Another must are the Braised Wagyu beef cheeks, tender and incredibly flavorful with togarashi, a Japanese spice blend including chili and sesame seeds. For a ligher option, the Himachi Crudo is delightful, small cubes of raw fish which are artistically presented. And in keeping with seafood, the dinner scallops are a fine choice. For vegetarians, delight in the potato gnocchi. Save room for dessert. The salted caramel budino is fun, sweet and salty with vanilla whipped cream atop chocolate tuille and sprinkled w caramel popcorn.

Enjoy breakfast or a happy hour with a view at the InterContinental Club Lounge.

For a great girls getaway or romantic escape, ride Vonlane to Atlanta with a relaxing stay at Interncontinental. With Valentine’s around the corner, book the trip with reservations at The Americano.
