Golf fans who follow collegiate tournaments will probably recall Bailey’s outstanding performance at last year’s USGA Girls Junior Championship. There she made it to the finals and was on the brink of becoming the first Black woman to win a USGA championship. However, lost the event to the #1 ranked women’s amateur in the world.
