    Bridgestone Americas Donates $50K to Support Middle Tennessee Flood Victims

    NASHVILLE, TN — Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) announced today the American Red Cross will receive $50,000 to assist with relief efforts following the floods in Middle Tennessee. The funding is intended to support recovery efforts in Tennessee, where the company has its Bridgestone Americas corporate headquarters, more than 4,500 employees, two tire plants, one industrial products plant, 59 retail stores, one distribution center and thousands of customers and business partners.

    “We have been humbled to hear of the tragic events associated with the recent flooding in Middle Tennessee and send our condolences to those who lost loved ones,” said Paolo Ferrari, CEO & President, Bridgestone Americas, and Global Solutions Business Officer, Bridgestone Corporation. “We are committed to supporting these communities and helping rebuild lives and livelihoods of those affected by the recent flood.”

    Bridgestone believes in the importance of building relationships of trust with local communities, as well as providing support for people in local communities where it does business.
