May 24, 2022 (Nashville, TN) – Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ will host its Community Fair’22 on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10am until 2pm at 4300 Clarksville Highway in Northwest Nashville. This much anticipated outdoor community gathering promises to be a full day of fun, food, family and fellowship. The Nashville community is cordially invited to attend. Admission is free and there will be activities for all ages.

Everyone is encouraged to come early by 11:30am to receive a free ticket for the special “Maximize Your Potential” raffle. Winners will take home brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Tablets. There will be plenty of other amazing prizes given away throughout the day. The Community Fair will also incorporate fun into fitness with exercise activities (all levels) and interactive nutrition sessions about delicious yet healthy eating.

Children can enjoy the Bounce House, lawn games and cookie decorating. There will be games for all ages, food, music, free apparel (children and adults), crafts, uplifting spirt-filled messages, and more.

In support of the Nashville small business community, vendors will be showcased throughout the fair to share with the community what they’re all about. Courtesy of local healthcare partners, free Covid-19 testing and other health screenings will be available. The Cathedral of Praise Men’s Ministry, known as the grill masters, will prepare and serve grilled fare throughout the afternoon.

“Like never before, it is so important to bring our community together again,” stated Jerry L. Maynard II, local businessman, former councilman-at-large and Pastor at Cathedral of Praise. “Here at Cathedral of Praise we are committed to serving not just through our Sunday ministry, but with outreach where we connect and engage with the community at-large; everyone is welcome,” Senate candidate Maynard continued.

The Community Fair is made possible through the Cathedral of Praise Outreach Ministry along with the following generous community partners: The Maynard Group, Pivotal Client Services, Metro Nashville Waste Services, Humana, and ALEC Wellness.

“Our Cathedral of Praise Outreach Ministry, led by Sheila Smith has worked hard to make sure everyone has a great time on Saturday,” stated Pastor Misha Maynard, Cathedral of Praise Chief Operations Officer who also serves as a Pastor in the ministry. “We are one of the only Community Fairs in the Nashville area gifting apparel for families in need. Our leader Jerry L. Maynard, Sr. has always taught us that it is truly more blessed to give.”
