Even though were’ not at the half way point of 2016, it’s not too early to get excited about the new 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited. And there’s a lot to get excited about. America’s Best Warranty is back! With 10 years and 100,000 miles of coverage, America’s Best Warranty is just that. The warranty is part of Hyundai Assurance. A suite of enhancements that makes your driving experience better and comes with every new vehicle they sell. It includes 24/7 Roadside Assistance for the first 5 years of ownership and features towing, trip interruption, assistance and help for a flat tire, dead battery or if you run out of gas or lock yourself out of your car – all of the things that often happen to us drivers on an average day.

Getting the keys to your new car is awesome but not needing them is way more cool. For the new 2017 Elantra, all you have to do is talk or touch and your car unlocks or locks, even starts, before you get in. That’s the beauty and simplicity of the remote features your smart-watch or smartphone can do using the Hyundai Blue Link®Connected Car System. It offers an innovative suite of features that come in handy every time you drive.

Smart phones are great but Elantra’s Smart Cruise Control is just as brilliant. When this available feature is activated and it detects a vehicle in your lane ahead, it automatically slows or speeds up the Elantra to maintain a safe distance with the vehicle ahead. It’s a convenient feature that keeps you flowing with traffic and limits frustration.

The Elantra sedan redefines the idea of what’s possible in a compact sedan with standard smartphone/USB and auxiliary input jacks plus SiriusXM Satellite Radio. The Limited has standard leather seating and Proximity Key entry with electronic push button start and a dual automatic temperature control. High- tech upgrades include Smart Cruise Control and an available 8-inch color navigation and rearview camera plus Infinity®Premium Audio with Clari-FiTM Music Restoration Technology.

There’s also generous head, leg and shoulder room for both the front and rear seat passengers. And the trunk has plenty of room for luggage, with 14.4 cubic feet of cargo volume. There’s also generous head, leg and shoulder room for both the front and rear seat passengers.

The option of the wonderful heated front and rear seats is still one of Elantra’s most popular options. The Elantra sedan was the first compact car to have heated seats for both front and rear passengers.

We can’t do very much about the weather but this car can help bad weather a lot more tolerable. The dual-zone automatic temperature control system with CleanAir Ionizer and Auto De-fogging System is standard on Elantra Limited. And when the sun, the moon or the stars are shining, open the available power tilt-and-slide sunroof and enjoy.

Lights that do more than turn on. They turn when you do. Elantra’s Dynamic Bending Light is an elegant design solution to a simple question: How can we give drivers better visibility when the road curves? This ingenious system automatically moves the headlights in sync with the steering wheel to provide greater illumination in turns. You can keep focused on the direction you want to go because you don’t drive in a straight line all of the time.

    THE NUMBERS:

    MSRP: From $17,150

    MPG: 28 city / 37 highway
