WHAT: Local McDonald’s owner-operators of the McDonald’s Greater Tennessee Valley Operator’s Association (GTVOA), including Nashville, are donating $28,466 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville (RMHC). RMHC keeps sick children close to their families and the care they need. This donation was the result of the Shamrock Shake. For every Shamrock Shake sold, a portion of proceeds was donated to the House.
Ronald McDonald House Charities relies heavily on donations to continue providing services to sick children and their families in the community. While it costs RMHC Nashville $85 a night to house a family, they ask guests to donate only $15 per night, and no family has ever been turned away due to the inability to pay.
