NASHVILLE, TN — March 14, 2025 – The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) has selected Yuri Cunza, President & CEO of the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NAHCC) and USHCC Board Member, to serve as Event Chair for the 2025 USHCC Legislative Summit and as a featured speaker at the General Session Luncheon on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Taking place March 24-26 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., the summit will bring together Hispanic business leaders, corporate executives, policymakers, and government officials to shape policies that drive economic growth and ensure Hispanic-owned businesses continue to thrive.

“It is an honor to serve as Event Chair and speaker at this year’s USHCC Legislative Summit,” said Cunza. “This summit is a crucial opportunity for our powerful and growing segment of the market to come together, make our voices heard, and advocate for policies that strengthen the American economy. Beyond advocacy, it’s also a moment to share the undeniable facts about the economic impact Hispanic businesses bring to the table—our contributions drive innovation, create jobs, and generate prosperity for all. By working together, we ensure that our businesses continue to thrive, fueling innovation and long-term prosperity while keeping our nation’s economy strong and leading in global growth. ¡Juntos!”

A Premier Advocacy Event for Hispanic Businesses

The USHCC Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C. will explore “The 2025 Business Policy Agenda: Charting the Course” through networking sessions, interactive workshops, roundtable discussions, business matchmaking opportunities, and distinguished keynote speakers. As the USHCC’s flagship advocacy gathering, the Legislative Summit provides an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to connect with business executives, corporate leaders, policymakers, and government officials from across the political spectrum.

During the General Session Luncheon, Cunza will introduce FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez, a respected leader in law, policy, and government, whose work has shaped critical policies impacting businesses, consumers, and communities nationwide.

Commissioner Gomez has dedicated her career to public service, advocating for technology access, telecommunications expansion, and economic development. Her commitment to fostering competitive economic opportunities aligns with the USHCC’s mission to strengthen Hispanic entrepreneurship and small businesses through expanded access to capital, resources, and strategic partnerships.

Shaping the Future of Hispanic Business Growth

Throughout the summit, attendees will gain insights into key policy issues affecting Hispanic businesses, including tariffs and trade, immigration policies, workforce dynamics, tax reform, and regulatory relief. A major focus will be strengthening North American trade through the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), ensuring that Hispanic entrepreneurs and small businesses remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global market.

With Hispanic businesses growing at a rate 2-3 times faster than the national average, NAHCC’s leadership and advocacy at the USHCC Legislative Summit will play a pivotal role in advancing policies that empower entrepreneurs, increase access to resources, and create lasting economic impact.
