    NASHVILLE, TN — The Nashville Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc. inducted nine outstanding women at its November meeting. Hosted at the home of Mrs. Rosetta Perry, a founding

    member, the event also featured the former national president, Mrs. Edwina Hefner, who was also a former president of the Nashville Chapter.

    The 2018 inductees include:

    • Ms. Charelle Lans, Industrial Engineer, Motivational & Inspirational Speaker, Strategy Development

    • Ms. Coretta Dillard Dawkins, Director of Finance & Accounting, Providence Health Group

    • Ms. Delores Gardner Stokes, Director of Talent Management, Tennessee Department of Human Services

    • Attorney Stephanie  Williams, Judicial Officer/Adjunct Professor at MTSU

    • Ms.  Juneice “Miss June” Michaux, Adjunct Professor, TSU, journalist, writer and Social Media Talk Show Host and  Trending with the Tribune

    Luvenia Harrison serves as the current president.  Les Gemmes is focused on improving, enlightening and advocating for young girls, from 12-18.  The group also provides scholarships for those going to college and vocational schools. They attend events focused on the arts, cultural activities, educational, economic and current events.  The Jewels, as they are called, recently toured the new Tennessee State Museum and will have a session on bullying on Nov. 17.
