NASHVILLE, TN — Neighborhood Health has partnered with Pruitt’s Discount Pharmacy to open a full-service pharmacy at its Cayce Clinic, 617 S. 8th Street, near downtown Nashville. A ribbon cutting will mark the grand opening on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Due to COVID precautions, the general public is not invited to attend the event.
“Residents of the Cayce community have trouble accessing convenient and affordable pharmacy services. Thanks to the support of a generous donor, Neighborhood Health and Pruitt’s Pharmacy are partnering to bring pharmacy and pharmacy-based vaccination services to the Cayce Clinic to address this community need,” said Brian Haile, the CEO of Neighborhood Health. “Pruitt’s Pharmacy at the Cayce Clinic is open to the public. Everyone can get their prescriptions here: Pruitt’s Pharmacy serves Neighborhood Health patients and everyone else in this community!”
Most medications, with the exception of controlled substances, will be available at this location. Pruitt’s Pharmacy and Neighborhood Health first partnered in 2017 for a pharmacy inside the Neighborhood Health Napier Clinic.
Pruitt’s is a network pharmacy for TennCare, CoverKids, CoverRx, Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans, and many commercial health insurance plans.
