R.H. Boyd Publishing Corp. will host a virtual Vision Conference™ in conjunction with the 115th Annual Session of the National Baptist Congress from June 16–18. The R.H Boyd Publishing Corporation, which publishes and distributes Christian materials and church supplies, was founded in 1896 by Rev. Dr. Richard Henry Boyd in Nashville.

In 2020, R.H. Boyd joined with the National Baptist Congress®, a consortium of churches and organizations focused on Christian education and leadership, to produce the Vision Conference.™ to meet the needs of today’s believers. Both organizations founded by Dr. Richard Henry Boyd, R.H. Boyd in 1896 and the National Baptist Congress in 1906.

The Vision Conference will offer a multitude of resources, including strategy sessions, business advice/mentorship, sermons, workshops, secular employment requirements, and continuing education credits for seminary, with access to the Urban Leadership Program Seminary Now™ at Northern Seminary™.

Because of COVID-19 pandemic, the second Vision Conference™ will launch virtually on June 16. This year’s theme is: Reset, Renew, and Rebuild. Main Scripture: 1 Peter 5:10 Supporting Scriptures: 2 Cor. 5:17 and Romans 12:2. The three-day experience will feature webinars, panels, prayer calls, online courses, and resources crucial to our community.

“This annual assembly is an important fixture in the culture and life of the African-American community and has been since it was instituted by my great-great grandfather,” says LaDonna Boyd, president/CEO of R.H. Boyd Publishing Corporation. “We are at a pivotal time in our nation’s history when our narrative and our voice need to be heard, and it is a great honor to carry the tradition of hosting these events.”

The Vision Conference plans an in-person conference in Nashville next year.  “This year’s virtual conference will serve as an impetus for our 2022 conference in Nashville,” Boyd said. “We are excited to be able to gather again safely in 2022 and hosting the conference in Nashville will be the best strategy to reunite as we refocus following the COVID-19 pandemic.”

To register for the Vision Conference, please visit visionconference.org for a complete schedule and follow the company on Instagram @visionconference_official for additional details.
