    Saint Thomas Rutherford to Host Free “Baby Fair” June 1

    MURFEESBORO, TN — Ascension Saint Thomas and Nashville Parent Magazine welcome expectant parents, their loved ones, and all interested Middle Tennesseans to the Rutherford Baby Fair. This free, fun, and educational event will take place at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital, 1700 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

    Co-produced by Ascension Saint Thomas and Nashville Parent Magazine, the Baby Fair is designed for mothers-to-be, their partners, and anyone in their support system who like to learn how to make a baby’s arrival a smoother transition. The event will pair educational presentations with fun activities like door prizes. Drawings for prizes will take place every 15 minutes; guests must be present to win. The grand prize winner will take home a Magellan 5-in-1 Maxi Cosi car seat ($350 value) and a car seat carrier ($100 value).

    The Murfreesboro Fire Department will lead a demonstration on proper car seat installation and infant car safety. Guests will hear from OB/GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives, as well as other Ascension Saint Thomas experts. Tours of the hospital will depart every 30 minutes.
