Members of the Sam Davis Masonic Lodge # 661 located in Smyrna, TN donated $1500.00 from their recent pancake breakfast to The Tennessee Fisher House Foundation.

Sam Davis Masonic Lodge # 661 is a Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons operating within the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. The mission of Freemasonry is to promote a way of life that binds like minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences by teaching the great principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth and by the outward expression of these, through its fellowship, its compassion and its concerns to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.

The Tennessee Fisher House is located on the campus of The Alvin C. York Veterans Administration Medical Center in Murfreesboro. The best medicine for those receiving care is having their families with them without having to worry about lodging nor dining expenses. The donations received help provide all the comforts of a real home, saving Veterans’ families thousands of dollars in out of pocket costs.

The Tennessee Fisher House is a twelve-suite “home away from home” that provides a place for families to stay, free of charge, while their loved one receives inpatient medical care at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. The house is beautifully furnished and features a shared, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, dining room, living room, sunroom, and a porch. The bedroom suites all have private bathrooms for privacy and comfort. For Inquiries about being a guest at The Tennessee Fisher House contact the House Manager in advance by calling 615-225-5758.

Follow Tennessee Fisher House on social media or visit the website at www.TennesseeFisherHouse.org for how one can donate and assist the families of Veterans staying in the facility.

The mailing address for Tennessee Fisher House Foundation Inc. is  PO Box 11693, Murfreesboro TN 37129 and the Foundation phone is 615-916-1310 with the email address of TennesseeFisherHouse@GMail.com.

Tennessee Fisher House is dedicated to the enrichment of quality of life of active duty military, veterans, and their families while a loved one is receiving treatment at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System or VA approved facility. Family love is the best medicine.
