The TNDP Chair Mary Mancini issued the following statement in response to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris accepting the Democratic nomination.
“This is a historic election year, and we could not be more hopeful or confident in the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ticket. We don’t need to look at
the havoc Trump has wrought in the past 4 years, we just need to look at the past 4 months. More than 174,000 COVID deaths, including 1,400 Tennesseans, is enough to know that Donald Trump is, in the words of Michele Obama, “in over his head.” He couldn’t save jobs, he couldn’t save lives, he couldn’t do anything but be divisive and send damaging tweets.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will use their experience as lifelong public servants and loyal Americans to turn this country around. They will put America back on course and once again work to ensure our safety, progress, and freedom.
