MEMPHIS, TN — The University of Memphis football team announced the program’s 2023 schedule on Tuesday. The Tigers will host six games at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, play a neutral site game against SEC foe Missouri in St. Louis and have five road games on the year.

The slate includes games against six teams who reached bowl games in 2022, including Cotton Bowl champion Tulane. Three of those bowl teams (Tulane, Boise State, SMU) will face the Tigers in Memphis.

In non-conference play, Memphis will open the season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Bethune-Cookman at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The Tigers will then travel to Arkansas State on Saturday, Sept. 9 before opening American Athletic Conference (AAC) play on Thursday, Sept. 14 against Navy in Memphis.

The Tigers will then head to St. Louis, Mo. to face Missouri in a neutral site contest at The Dome at America’s Center. Memphis will round out non-conference play against Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

In AAC action, along with Navy, the Tigers will also host Tulane (Friday, Oct. 13), USF (Saturday, Nov. 4) and SMU (Saturday, Nov. 18) at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

Conference road games for Memphis this season include UAB (Saturday, Oct. 21), North Texas (Saturday, Oct. 28) and Charlotte (Saturday, Nov. 11). The Tigers will also face Temple on the road to end the regular season on either Friday, Nov. 24 or Saturday, Nov. 25. The date of that game will be announced on Oct. 9 by the conference.

Each of the 14 teams in The American will play eight conference games in 2023. The top two teams in the final single-division regular-season standings will meet Dec. 2 in the ninth American Athletic Conference Football Championship.

Kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season, as well as the season-long weeknight games, will be finalized by June 1. The rest of the schedule will fall under the customary 12-day and six-day selection processes.

Memphis Athletics has launched the “I’m Committed” ticket renewal and sales campaign for the 2023-24 season, including football. Committed season ticket holders will receive access to special events, opportunities and recognitions, with additional details to come throughout the spring and summer. The commitment deadline for 2023 football renewals is April 1.

Current season ticket holders have received invoices for next season in the mail, and commitments can be made via the renewal form or online at www.GoTigersGo.com/renew.

Fans can also commit to new season tickets online at www.GoTigersGoTix.com or by calling the Memphis Ticket Office at (901) 678-2331. Season tickets for the 2023 Memphis Football season start at only $99.
