    Women in Trucking Scholarship Available

    Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–The AllTrucking.com team is offering a $1,000 scholarship for women in the trucking industry. It is available to anyone ready to begin a career in the trucking industry, or if ready to continue education to pursue a career goal within the transportation industry.

    Amount: $1,000
    Deadline: January 31
    Who’s eligible: Any woman, including DACA recipients, who is pursuing a career in the transportation industry

    In an effort to help as many current and prospective trucking professionals achieve their career goals, our Women in Trucking Scholarship:

    • Is open to all students, including:
      • Students under 18 (provided they have obtained parental consent)
      • Current students actively enrolled in or applying to an accredited or state-approved transportation-related program, such as CDL Training or another eligible transportation program (defined further below)
      • Part-time students in such programs
    • May be used for all educational expenses, including tuition, books, and housing
    • Each year, we select one student for the $1,000 award

    Selection Criteria

    We are passionate about connecting individuals with education that opens career opportunities in trucking. To be selected, students must be currently enrolled in or applying to any of the following programs from an accredited school or state-approved program:

    • CDL
    • CDL Endorsement training

    Applicants may submit one application per year.

    The Women in Trucking Scholarship Selection Committee wants to know what inspired you to pursue a career in trucking. The committee reviews all submitted scholarship applications based on the following selection criteria:

    • Inspiration for choosing your career path
    • Thoughtfulness of your response
    • Impact you hope to have for other women
