Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–This is the 5th year for the Free, Family Friendly (FFF) concert series recently ranked Nationally as the #1 Destination for Jazz in Music City, USA.

Jazz On The Cumberland is held once a month, May thru October, on designated Sundays at the Nashville Cumberland Park 592 S. First St. (next to the Titans Nissan Stadium) overlooking the scenic skyline of downtown Nashville. The Jazz series has an average monthly attendance of 3,000, except for Mother’s and

Father’s Day which always has a record breaking attendances of more than 5,000.

Jazz On The Cumberland was founded in August 2011 by Producer Victor Chatman of Victor Chatman Production & Studios in conjunction with Nashville Metro Parks to provide free, quality entertainment for jazz enthusiast citizens.

Chatman had a successful “Brown Bag Lunch Special Concert Series” in Centennial Park, but said, “I wanted Music City USA to host a free Jazz Series in Nashville”.

Victor gives credit to the Metro Parks Board for its approval because now Nashville is included nationally as a major Jazz venue along with New Orleans (The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival), Chicago, (Chicago Jazz Festival)

& New York, (New York Jazz Festival).

Jazz On The Cumberland is also The First Concert Series in the newly constructed Nashville Cumberland Park. It also has many purposes for numerous Nashville organizations. Jazz On The Cumberland holds the record for the Largest Food Drive in a 4 hour period during the Feed The Hunger months with Second Harvest. These drives have helped feed local families, as well as tornado & hurricane victims in other states. Jazz On The Cumberland has also been instrumental in providing internship, externship, and job shadowing programs for Metro Schools. Victor Chatman is a 11 year Business

Pencil Partner and Academy Partner with area Colleges. These programs include S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music). Hospitality & Marketing, Digital Design, Live and Studio Sound, Event Planning & Promotions. The series features local, regional, and national acts paired with the students to give them valuable experience and exposure.

Jazz On The Cumberland has attracted hundreds of thousands of area residents, tourists and music aficionados alike from across the US and beyond over these past 10 years. This destination weekend is known to help sell out numerous hotels and restaurants, as well as shoppers in Nashville malls.

The Anniversary Special, will celebrate all the milestones that Jazz On The Cumberland brings to Nashville
