    North Nashville Culture Crawl Returns October 18-20, Showcasing Art and Performances Across 20 Local Venues

    Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-The North Nashville Arts Coalition is excited to present the Second Annual North Nashville Culture Crawl from October 18th to 20th. This expanded event will celebrate the vibrant BIPOC artistic community in North Nashville, showcasing a diverse array of local talent and cultural expressions. Join us for an unforgettable three-day celebration of art and culture—mark your calendars, spread the word, and be part of this DYNAMIC EXPERIENCE!  

    Building on last year’s success, the Culture Crawl will span three days and feature over 20 locations throughout North Nashville, Buchanan Arts District, Historic Jefferson Street and Germantown. Attendees can enjoy a dynamic mix of art exhibitions, live performances, interactive installations, and family-friendly activities, all designed to highlight North Nashville’s creative spirit and cultural heritage.

    The North Nashville Arts Coalition remains dedicated to supporting BIPOC artists by providing equitable opportunities for growth. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment amidst the challenges of gentrification, allowing artists to thrive and preserve the area’s rich cultural legacy.

    Event Schedule:

    Friday October 18:

    Shuttle from 5pm-1am with Destinations at John Early Museum Middle Magnet, The

    Sangtuary, Pleasant Green Baptist Church, & the Elks Lodge.

    Culture Crawl Kickoff Events: Friday October 18,

    -5pm Shuttle Begins See Map for Pick Up locations.

    – 5:30pm-8:30pm Proverbs & Poetry hosted by Young Adult Collective at Pleasant Green Baptist Church

    – 6pm-9pm Solberg Studios Fall Showcase & Open Mic, hosted by Mossy McFly

    – 6pm-10pm at the Sangtuary A Night of Conversation and Jazz hosted by Nashville Women in Jazz

    – 10pm-1am Emerald City After Party hosted by Soul’d 615 & the CE Gallery at the Elks Lodge

    Saturday Oct 19:

    Shuttle from 10am-10pm with drop off at all Crawl Sites. See Map for Pick Up locations.

    – 10am-2pm at Hadley Park, 7th Annual Anti-Bully Walk led by Metro Nashville Community Park Centers

    – 12noon -5pm at McGruder Family Resource Center, Bang 4 Liberation, Led by Recycle Reinvest

    -1pm-4pm Vibe & Release Paint Throwing at 2100 Buchanan St. hosted by 663Mainfa & the Black Mental Health Village

    -3pm-9pm Art Market at 100 Taylor Arts Collective

    – 6pm-10pm The North Nashville Art Crawl, on Jefferson Street, Buchanan, & Germantown

    Sunday Oct 20:

    Shuttle Service from 9am-1pm with Destinations at Plaza Arts & Watkins Park. See Map for

    Pick Up locations.

    – 8am-3pm Hands on Creativity hosted by Plaza Arts at Plaza Arts 1205 2nd Ave N

    – 12pm-5pm Open Streets out North, from Watkins Park – Jubilee Bridge Featuring Walk Bike Nashville, Nashville Shakes, Nashville Community Garden Coalition & The World Afri-Culture Community.

    – 6pm-10pm The Culture Crawl Closing Art Show & Mixer at Riddim n Spice 2116 Meharry Blvd, hosted by Wroten Works, Ether & The Artist Odessa Moon

    North Nashville, known for its historical and cultural significance, continues to be a hub of artistic and intellectual achievement. The North Nashville Arts Coalition, evolving from the Jefferson Street Art Crawl (JSAC), is committed to championing this community’s artistic voices. 

    This event is presented by the North Nashville Arts Coalition in Collaboration w/ GoodWill Industries of Middle TN & Metro Arts Commission.
