    Renasant Promotes Adams to Senior Executive Vice President

    TUPELO, MS – Today, Renasant (RNST: NASDAQ) Chief Executive Officer and President, C. Mitchell Waycaster, announced that Tracey Morant Adams, was named Senior Executive Vice President, and Chief Community Development and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer. In her continued capacity with Renasant, Adams will lead external community relations and social responsibility strategies for Renasant to further promote community and economic development programming throughout the Bank’s footprint.

    “Tracey is a tremendous asset to Renasant and her recognition as a Senior Executive within our company is well deserved,” said Waycaster. “Her ability to connect economic development and community development initiatives, foster corporate social responsibility and provide leadership within the communities we serve is invaluable to Renasant.”

    In her current role, Adams is responsible for community, economic, and business development for Renasant, especially within the areas of small business and mortgage lending. Prior to joining Renasant, Adams served as Executive Director in the Office of Economic Development for the City of Birmingham, where she was responsible for the city’s economic development strategy and implementation.

     Adams received her MBA from Samford University, her BBA from the University of Montevallo, and completed studies in Quantitative Economics at Temple University. Currently, she is a Doctoral student at Alabama State University pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership, Policy and Law.

    Adams is a member the Talladega College Board of Trustees, Central Alabama United Way Board of Directors, The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham Board of Directors, The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Executive Leadership, Samford University College of Business Advisory Board, Lawson State Foundation Board, and the National Association of Female Executives. She serves her community through such organizations as, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; The Links, Incorporated; the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, the Women’s Network of Birmingham, and the City of Pelham Commercial Development Authority. Additionally, Adams represents Renasant on the Community Banker’s Collaborative Council, a national advisory board focused on banking solutions benefiting neighborhoods and communities throughout the United States.
