Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)–Crye-Leike Real Estate Services announced Addy Biggers has been named the managing broker of its Brentwood branch office. Biggers will be responsible for the recruitment, training and management of the office’s sales associates.
Biggers earned her real estate license three years ago and began working with Post & Company in 2020. In February 2022, Crye-Leike acquired Post & Co, welcoming Biggers and the rest of the team to the Brentwood office. Prior to serving clients in the real estate industry, Biggers spent many years in executive-level healthcare positions, supporting the growth of the companies and teams that she led.
“I love being a resource for my clients and colleagues alike to creatively problem solve and work towards win-win outcomes,” said Biggers. “My aim as managing broker is to proliferate a mindset of gratefulness for the work we get to do and a giving spirit within the Crye-Leike community.”
Biggers is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors.
TDCI NAMES MICHAEL SCHULZ AS NEW DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance announced Michael Schulz has been promoted to the position of director of business development for TDCI’s Insurance Division.
Schulz has served as executive director for six regulatory programs within TDCI’s Division of Regulatory Boards since joining the department in 2020. He will succeed Joshua Clark, who is returning to the private sector after joining TDCI in 2020.
Schulz will focus on expanding the use of captive insurance companies as a risk management solution for businesses in order to attract new captives to Tennessee.
Captive insurance is an option for companies of all sizes seeking to self-insure certain aspects of their business.
Currently, Tennessee is ranked as the 10th-largest captive domicile worldwide and is the sixth-largest captive domicile in the United States with over 500 active risk-bearing entities and an annual gross written premium exceeding $2.1 billion.
Prior to joining TDCI, Schulz worked in the insurance and financial services industries, simultaneously holding a Tennessee insurance producer’s license as well as FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses.
