NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee State University announced the loss of a beloved former chief of staff and vice president of administration on Wednesday. In a Facebook post, the university said that Curtis Johnson died over Labor Day weekend. Johnson also served as an administrator at Jackson State University for more than two decades. The university thanked Johnson for his service and said that he would be missed. Alumni, faculty and staff remember Johnson as a mentor, a team player and a strong leader.
