Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)- Following the roadway change implemented on September 23, Nashville International Airport®, also known as BNA®, will introduce its next traffic adjustment on Wednesday, September 30. These updates support construction of the new, expanded rental car facility and parking garage under the New Horizon program.
These adjustments are part of broader roadway improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency, convenience, and the overall customer experience, according to BNA.
Beginning Sept. 30, all Rental Car Facility and Valet users will be directed to exit toward the newly activated signalized intersection. The revised traffic pattern will guide vehicles exiting the rental car facility and valet operations directly to this new intersection. Updated signage and lane guidance will support a smoother, more predictable experience.
The new signal provides a protected left‑turn, offering a safer and more direct connection to I‑40 West, I‑40 East, and Donelson Pike via Exit 216B. These routing updates aim to streamline travel and reduce congestion as construction continues.
These roadway changes mark a major milestone toward building the new, larger rental car facility and parking garage. The enhanced complex will accommodate 4,700 vehicles (including 3,500 ready‑return stalls and 1,200 staging/storage spaces), significantly expanding capacity and improving customer experience.
