Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–After moving to Nashville in 1884, Preston Taylor, a business and religious leader, established Greenwood, Nashville’s second oldest Black cemetery. He helped start Tennessee State University in 1912. A public housing project was named after him in 1951.
