NASHVILLE, TN — Davidson County voters will have multiple opportunities to cast their ballots before Election Day, with early voting for the Nov. 3 state and federal general election beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14.
Early voting will continue through Thursday, Oct. 29, at 15 locations throughout Davidson County. Unlike Election Day, voters who participate during the early voting period may cast their ballots at any of the designated early voting sites, regardless of their assigned Election Day polling location.
The schedule includes extended hours on several days. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays and Mondays, and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Tuesdays.
Voters must present a federal or Tennessee state identification card bearing their name and photograph. A voter registration card is not required.
The Davidson County Election Commission encourages voters to use early voting for its convenience and potentially shorter wait times. The Oct. 5 voter registration deadline was the final day to register for the Nov. 3 election.
