Nashville, TN – ONE India Association of Nashville to host India Day Sat. Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Nashville Public Square Park. Mayor Freddie O’ Connell officially proclaimed August 10 as India Cultural Heritage Day, emphasizing the importance and recognition of the Indian community in Nashville.

“Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths in Nashville, and India Day serves a reminder of all the rich cultural contributions Nashvillians of Indian heritage have made to our city and the world,” stated Mayor Freddie O’Connell.

Festivities of this premiere event will include live music, dance, Indian food trucks and vendors as well as a parade on Deaderick St, between 3rd & 6th Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
