NASHVILLE, TN — In its latest effort to combat the spread of COVID-19, MAPCO, the convenience store chain with 344 locations throughout the southeastern region of the United States, announced recently the donation of 2,400 N95 respirator masks to the Nashville Office of Emergency Management.

“During this unprecedented time in our community, we need to support each other and that is exactly what MAPCO’s donation is doing for Nashville frontline workers,” said Director Chief William Swann, Nashville Fire Department and Nashville Office of Emergency Management. “These N95 masks are going to help Nashville frontline workers stay safe as they continue to combat COVID-19 in our community. We are so grateful to MAPCO for this important donation.”

The donation of 2,400 N95 respirator masks to the Nashville Office of Emergency Management is part of MAPCO’s continuous commitment to the communities it serves.

“As a community-focused company, our top priority is to make a meaningful difference in the fight against COVID-19 in all the communities we serve, including our home base of Nashville,” said Fredric Chaveyriat, CEO, MAPCO. “We’re proud to partner with the Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County to distribute these N95 respirator masks to the brave individuals risking their lives to keep us all safe.”

As MAPCO stores continue to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic as essential businesses, all stores employ rigorous and frequent cleaning and disinfecting processes while closely following the latest information and guidelines from local, state and federal government agencies and health organizations. Plexiglass shields have been installed in every store and masks, gloves and hand sanitizer have been provided to all team members. Additionally, to support social distancing efforts, store occupancy has been limited to 7 to 10 people at a time and MAPCO has placed physical in-store indicators on floors to support appropriate distancing. All seating areas are closed, and food orders are to-go only for the time being.

The four Nashville-area stores currently offering Full Service+ from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. are located at:

    1187 W Main St. Hendersonville

    1775 Madison St. Clarksville

194 S Mount Juliet Rd. Mount Juliet

    1100 Hillsboro Rd. Franklin

MAPCO is currently offering a Full Service+ touchless fueling program in four local stores and will be expanding to 10 more next week. This offering is a combination of full-service and curbside delivery for customers who would prefer to not directly use a self-service pump.
