Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell has announced a vision committee to explore space/facility needs for Nashville General Hospital.
Nashville General Hospital has been in its current location on the campus of Meharry Medical College since 1998.
O’Connell vowed to form this committee after securing a Professional Services Agreement between NGH and Meharry and after NGH announced Dr. Veronica Elders would serve as permanent CEO.
NGH provides $60 million annually in unreimbursed care.
