NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Meharry Medical College School of Medicine Center of Excellence is accepting applications for its upcoming ACT Prep Course, designed to help high school students strengthen academic skills, improve test-taking strategies and build confidence as they prepare for the ACT.
The course will run from September 26 through November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Meharry Medical College’s West Basic Science Building, 1023 21st Avenue North in Nashville.
Students will receive targeted instruction in the four ACT subject areas — English, math, reading and science — along with test-taking and time-management strategies, practice questions, skill-building exercises and guidance to help identify academic strengths and areas for improvement. The program also focuses on ACT test-day preparation and overall college readiness.
Students selected to participate in the program will receive a $500 stipend.
