NASHVILLE, TN — Neighborhood Health is still offering free flu shots at all its locations. Everyone over the age of 6 months is encouraged to get a flu shot this year, unless certain underlying conditions or allergies exist, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Appointments are required and may be made by calling 615-227-3000.

“Neighborhood Health is working hard to protect the health of all in our community.  We are the ONLY health care provider in all of Middle Tennessee that has made flu shots completely free for everyone, regardless of insurance status, since the beginning of this flu season.  This is free without an asterisk or limitation: We want EVERYONE to #BreatheEasier.”

Experts suggest getting the flu and COVID vaccines at the same time to save trips and scheduling headaches. Free COVID boosters are available at the Downtown Clinic in Nashville, with a special emphasis on vaccinating the homeless population. Supply of the new COVID booster is currently limited, so priority is being given to the most vulnerable individuals. Vaccinations are free for everyone, including those with health insurance and those without. Free COVID vaccines will be available at other Neighborhood Health locations during special vaccination events and as they become more readily available.

Neighborhood Health has locations throughout Nashville, in Madison and in Lebanon. Specific clinic locations and hours, telehealth visits, and more are available by visiting www.neighborhoodhealthtn.org.

Neighborhood Health is a private non-profit network of neighborhood health centers that has served the people of Middle Tennessee for almost 50 years without regard to their insurance status or ability to pay.  Through ten clinics in Nashville, 1 in Lebanon, and 1 in Gallatin, Neighborhood Health provides medical, prenatal, dental and behavioral health care to 30,000 underserved people of all ages, more than half of whom have no health insurance.

Visit www.NeighborhoodHealthTN.org or call 615-227-3000 for information or appointments.
